I’ve been recently having trouble digesting what my wife told me the other day. He told me I was sexist for saying that there are things women can’t do that men only can. But it is quite true isn’t it? I’m not a firm believer of sexism or masculinity itself, but there are things that are facts. Accepting facts are quite difficult for everyone, especially those who believe in themselves.
I mean, think about it. There are things that women themselves can only do. Women are not discriminated when they look at the abdomens of finely-tuned men. It is also not considered sexual harassment if a woman touches a man’s private part unconsciously. But if a man does this particular thing to a woman, he is condemned for sexual harassment. Truly, man does not consider it sexist in this particular situation.
We’ve been raised in a culture of morality where women are given more rights than men in terms of sexuality. But if you consider it sexism to tell a woman that there are things she cannot do, and that is being discriminated upon for sexual lavishness.
It’s quite a difficult world to understand. Women are also difficult to understand. Women can do the things men can do, but sadly, men’s strength can be more than women’s on average. This is a fact. I’m not being sexist or anything, but to have a beautiful woman with the average womanly body carry a large ton of a sofa and see them not carry it makes my statement a testament.
