Handling cases of Crime and sex is routine business for the Police of any state. However for once the Patna Police is flummoxed by a bizarre complaint filed by a constable against Congress MLA Sunita Devi accusing her of sexual exploitation. They are unable to figure out the proceedings to be carried out in lieu of such a complaint. Apparently the constable even received threats over the phone after he gave an explicit account of the sordid affair to the media.

It has now come to light that there is no provision in the Indian Penal Code dealing with sexual exploitation of a male !! A couple of High Court advocates admitted that such a lacunae does exist in the IPC . Havent’t the Indian law makers heard of Mata Hari, The Amazon...
