Following a lead provided by Rohit Bhan (Click here for the pic), Onionuttapam.com has uncovered shameful pictorial evidence of how sections of our big media pays obeisances to handful of power families of India.
One of India's largest media group, Network18 which owns television channels like IBN-Live, IBN7, IBN-Lokmat, CNBC-TV18 & CNBC Awaaz, also operates the well-known website Connect.in.com. A deeper investigation of the profiles of prominent Indians posted on the connect.in website show that only dead members of Gandhi Family, a couple of dead industrialists and..............(a real shocker!!) have been granted the privilege of exemption from being 'voted down' and having tomatoes thrown at them.

Two dead leaders from two of India's largest business empires have also been exempted from tomatoes, pichkaris and negative votes - JRD Tata and.. surprise, surprise, Dhirubhai Ambani, the polyster prince!
But except for Mahatma Gandhi, no other dead congress leader outside the Gandhi family has been exempted.
Not even Freedom Fighters like Bhagat Singh or Bal Gangadhar Tilak. Nejaji Subhashchandra Bose doesn't even have a profile page.
You can throw tomatoes even at legendary national icons like Rabindranath Tagore and Swami Vivekananda.
And now for the shocker!!!
The only dead political leader from the Indian subcontinent apart from the Gandhis who has been allowed the privilege of exemption from being voted down.
One of the greatest patriots of India, the father of Pakistan!
