Mumbai: Ekta Kapoor, goddess of televistan, emerged from her fortress at Balaji Telefilms and announced to the world that one of the leading character of one of the most popular soaps produced by Balaji Telefilms would be temporarily killed. The leading character who will be temporarily killed off would be the character of Baa, the whitest & the oldest sheep in the history of television sheep characters from the longest running soap in televistan history - 'Kyunki Baa Bhi Kabhi Jawaan Thi'
Kyunki Baa Bhi Kabhi Jawaan Thi' is a story that revolves around a family of sheep, headed by Baa, the oldest living sheep in the history of sheepkind. The story looks at the events in the life of the Virani sheep family as viewed from the old eyes of Baa, who has lived through seven generations of her large flock and witnessed death of at least one family member from every generation.
Baa, the whitest sheep, has lived for so long, that millions of her fans who watch her in action everyday have forgotten that she is a mortal like every other sheep and subject to decay and death.
Dressed in pure white kurta, Ekta Kapoor, producer of the longest-running soap said to reporters gathered outside her fortress "I want to give my subjects shock of their lives. Fans, followers and devotees of Baa are living in denial believing that their favorite sheep is an immortal who will continue to live forever guiding the young, innocent and goody-good sheep of her flock and keep safeguarding them from wolves in sheep clothing, who continue to invade her family every now and then"
Baa, the oldest and whitest sheep of televistan, reacting to reports that her character will be killed off.
"I want to remind my viewers that in the world of televistan, no one is immortal, no matter how much loved or popular he or she might be. No character of my soaps is bigger or mightier than me. Being the goddess of televistan, I've the power to kill off any of my characters at any time I desire and the only reason Baa, the oldest living sheep of televistan, has survived for so long is because she has so fallen in love with Virani sheep family, that she is unable to conceive living her life separated from her flock. Being kind and compassionate goddess of televistan, I keep agreeing to her unreasonable requests to keep her character alive in the soap, generation after generation"
"But enough is enough. I'm bored and now want to see her die."
But why is she dying temporarily? asked a reporter.
"She kept pleading to me to show mercy to her and being a good goddess, I couldn't bear to see her tears. So I conceded her demands and agreed to kill her off only temporarily. But there's a rider to it. She can resurrect back to life, only if her devotees pray in large numbers to me for restoration of her life. If I'm sufficiently pleased by the devotion of her devotees, I will raise her back to life and let her continue guiding the Virani sheep family for at least another 20 years."
"Prayers to restore her back to life can be sent through email, snail mail and through SMS requests. Preference will be given to SMS requests. My special devotees, working at Balaji Studios are also planning to build a large temple in my honor outside the precincts of Balaji Telefilms. The premises of these temples should be used by her devotees to offer prayers for restoration of her life. Special prayer days would be announced shortly after the temporary death of Baa and I expect devotees to throng the temple grounds in large numbers, pray to me with absolute devotion and also donate generously at the donation boxes that would be placed anvenient locations"

HaHa ! So now the white sheep has suddenly become the black sheep of the family!! I'm surprised that ekta kapoor hasnt had a temple built in her honour!! I dont think any psychiatrist would be willing to even examine a brain so warped as ekta's. !! Along with BAA they should bury the whole co.(Balajee Telefilms) lock stock and barrel.I'm surprised that the censor board allows such serials to be telecast. |
