American Gas opens its production centre in India

After IT, BPO and KPO's it's the time for relocation of Natural Gas companies to India. In a major shift the world leader in Gas production, American Gas has decided to move it's production centre form Texas to Patna in India.

A spokesperson of the company said that the company has decided to move the plant to city of Patna because it was able to find more capable employees there in comparison to Texas. Labour Unions here have complained that opening of centre in Patna is part of cost cutting by the company and will be followed by lay off at the Texas centre. The Texas facility is one of the biggest production centres for America Gas.

The company spokesperson rubbished the union's claim." The reason for opening up a new base at Patna was because we have much better and qualified people there and their talent is amazing. Another reason is Indian food, which produces much more gas then the American food, but at the same cost." said the company research scientist Malina Jacob.

With same amount of food an Indian produces more gas then his American conterpart. Hence we decided to open our gas production centre in Patna. It's a new concept in India where people have to sit on specially designed seats, eat and drink at company's expense and only release gas. The gas released is refined and used as Biogas" explained Head of Indian Operations Mr. Srivastava.

If the Patna experiment proves successful, the Company plans to open 20 more such production centers in India.
