It is a shame for Shane Warne and his team who are refusing to participate further in IPL because of the serial blasts. Cricket itself presents some risk of injury and sportsmen are supposed to be brave while playing and also in real lives.

By boycotting or abstaining from the schedule match they are encouraging terrorist to take their agenda further. If one cares two hoots for such incidents then terrorists too will realise the futility of their gruesome acts.

We moved into Mumbai after the serial blasts in 1993 and took up the challenge of working in adverse condition. I know most of my colleagues refrained from entering Mumbai. But we took the bull by its horn and survived for 12 years. In fact after we left there was serial train blast. Fortune favours the brave.

Now in case Shane Warne and his company leave IPL mid way, they should be banned from IPL forever. I don t think we requre such players who are cowards to entertain us. The only alternative for BCCI is to shift the venue to Blore, even if they want extreme safety.

Cricketers should realise that terrorism is a way of life, one has to get on and play the game.
